Two years ago, Anthoine Hubert passed away
Today, motorsport is celebrating a very sad anniversary: the death of Anthoine Hubert at the top of the Raidillon de Spa Francorchamps.

On August 31, 2019, in the afternoon, the first Formula 2 race was the scene of a horrific accident involving Giuliano Alesi, Juan Manuel Correa, and Anthoine Hubert, all racing at full speed.
No need to reshoot the disaster film as the images have left a lasting impact.
Hubert was part of the Renault Academy and seemed destined for a great future, as evidenced by his victory at home, in Castellet, a few months earlier.
Since then, the Circuit of the Belgian Ardennes has become a place of meditation for all drivers, especially for its two great friends, Pierre Gasly and Charles Leclerc. The latter had secured the pole position a few hours before the tragedy, before winning the following day, pointing his finger and eyes towards the sky.
The editorial team of MotorsInside keeps a fond thought for this young driver and great French hope in motorsport, to whom we could not fail to pay tribute. These thoughts are also directed towards his family and loved ones, to whom we all send our deepest sympathy.
