Zak Brown tested positive for Covid-19
This Thursday, McLaren unveiled that three employees, including their team principal Zak Brown, tested positive for Covid-19.

In a statement, McLaren revealed that the team’s president Zak Brown tested positive for Covid-19 during the rigorous testing program on the eve of the British Grand Prix.
The British team specified that two other members have also tested positive and that these three cases are not related. Zak Brown and the other two employees were immediately placed in isolation, in accordance with UK government guidelines.
On Twitter, Zak Brown specified that he followed the instructions of the British government and notified all the people he came across.
Following the pre-event tests of our team for the British Grand Prix, I tested positive for Covid-19. I have informed all my close contacts and isolated myself in accordance with government guidelines. I will still be connected and support the team safely from home.
McLaren concluded the statement by reassuring fans that operations for the British Grand Prix will not be affected. Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo have both tested negative.
