Mark White joins Aston Martin

The British man has over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry, as he joined Honda in 1994. During his time at the Japanese company, White held various management positions in planning, production control, and the quality department.

As part of the restructuring of the production department, Bob Halliwell will take up the position of Chief Operating Officer (formerly Production Director), Mark White will report directly to the former. White will assume overall responsibility for production control, quality assurance, and manufacturing.

Aston Martin’s Team Principal, Otmar Szafnauer, is pleased with the recruitment of Mark White and highlights his team’s demonstration of its willingness to strengthen.

« The arrival of Mark White within the Aston Martin team will be a key meeting and will add valuable expertise to our factory operations, he says.

« Mark’s experience in the automotive industry will be particularly relevant as cost capping comes into effect, placing more emphasis on controlling manufacturing expenses.

« He will also continue our efforts to improve the quality and efficiency of our production and manufacturing systems. This is another demonstration of our commitment to strengthen the team in all areas with another experienced leader. »
