Contract renewed between Alfa Romeo and Sauber for several seasons!
The two brands, which have been associated since 2018, have found a new agreement to continue their adventure in F1 for several years.

More than 30 years after leaving F1, Alfa Romeo returned to competition by partnering with Sauber in 2018. Initially, the Italian manufacturer was the title sponsor of the Swiss team before it took on the name of the brand in 2019. This is therefore the third season in which Sauber Motorsport is competing in F1 under the name Alfa Romeo Racing.
Since the beginning of their alliance, the two brands have experienced great moments in the premier category of motor racing, notably with Charles Leclerc in 2018. As significant progress is made on the car, the two brands have decided to continue their adventure in F1 for several years.

The team principal, Frédéric Vasseur, is pleased with the renewal of this contract and highlights the benefits that this partnership brings to both brands.
Continuing with Alfa Romeo is a huge step forward for the team, but it seems very natural. It is the extension of a successful partnership that has had increasing results over the years, not only on the track but also off it. Sauber and Alfa Romeo are becoming increasingly integrated, and this brings immense benefits to both brands. What we have done so far is just the beginning: there is much more to come in the future,” said Frédéric Vasseur.
« As a team, we have taken the biggest step forward on the grid this season, even though the results do not yet show it as well as the data. The gap with the front of the grid has significantly reduced, especially in the world of minimal gains that Formula 1 is at the end of a regulatory cycle. This improvement supports the extension of the relationship with Alfa Romeo: they see that the team is evolving in the right direction, and both they and we are motivated to reap the rewards of our development together.
The brand also specified that their partnership will extend beyond the racing tracks as it will benefit the road vehicles of the Italian manufacturer.
