In this audio series that will be released on July 14th, Alain Prost will reveal himself and look back on the key moments of his career. The four-time world champion will also discuss the evolution of F1, the new regulations, and share his opinion on the new generation of drivers.

According to the French team, this podcast is intended for all Formula 1 fans, newcomers as well as long-time enthusiasts.

In the first episode, which will be released next Wednesday, Professor will talk about his beginnings in karting and the intense work he put in to reach Formula 1 in 1980. He will look back on his first victory in Dijon in 1981, as well as his disappointment in 1984, where he finished as vice-world champion, ½ point behind Niki Lauda.

« I wanted to become a footballer. I was not interested in mechanical sports at all. My brother, however, was. I remember my first karting race, We had gone to Cannes at his initiative and I immediately hooked, », he explains.

« Whether it was my first race in Formula 1 or even my first victory in Dijon, the effect was the same as during my first laps in karting. It was a new start in a way. Even when I became world champion in 1985, I said to myself ‘ok, I did it’; but afterwards, I only thought about one thing, doing it again regardless of the performance of my car or my position on the grid.

Alpine specified that the second episode will be available on September 15, the third on October 13, and the final episode on November 10. The entire podcast can be listened to on platforms such as Apple Podcast, Deezer, Spotify, Google Podcast, and Amazon Music.
