Ferrari unveils its new simulator
This Wednesday, the Scuderia announced the completion of the construction of its new simulator which will be used to design and develop the 2022 single-seater.

Ferrari announced this Wednesday that its new simulator is now installed in Maranello. The Scuderia’s new work tool will be located between the main headquarters and the Fiorano test track.
An essential working element for several seasons now, this new simulator will be used from September for the design and development of next year’s single-seater.
The Scuderia already has a simulator, but it will not be abandoned. It will be made available to young drivers from the Ferrari Driver Academy so that they can do training sessions. It will also be used for the development of the SF21 and race weekend preparation.
According to Ferrari, their brand new simulator will be at the cutting edge of technology with a 360° environment, lower latency, and a bandwidth using the best elements on the market. If the production of the latter is ensured by the Scuderia, it results from a collaboration led by Dynisma, directed by Ashley Warne, former engineer of the prancing horse brand.
« Simulation and digital technology will play an even more important role in the development of a Formula 1 car, and we believe we have made the best possible choice by focusing on the creation of a tool that will allow us to make a generational leap in this sector,” said Gianmaria Fulgenzi, Logistics Director.
To do this, we chose Dynisma, a young and dynamic company. It took two years to complete this project and we are now ready to use it on project 674, the name given to the car that will comply with the new technical regulations that will come into force in 2022,” he continued.
