The expected rain this Sunday for the French Grand Prix
At this stage of the forecast, there are risks of rain for the race. And what if this rainy trend continues?

This week, a large part of France will experience rain and thunderstorms. The same goes for the Var region, where the Paul Ricard circuit in Le Castellet is located.
For the time being, the free practice sessions on Friday were held under a partially cloudy sky, dominated by dry and sunny weather.
The same goes for free practice session 3 as well as qualifying: the weather should remain stable throughout Saturday, with temperatures not exceeding 29°C. Therefore, the starting grid is expected to remain rather conventional.
On the other hand, it would be on Sunday that the heavens would unleash their caprices: the morning should be tinged with showers, and other rain showers could follow.
It is therefore not impossible that the race takes place in drying conditions, if not wet.
No certainty is to be advanced at this time. If rain were to join the Grand Prix de France festivities, it would be the second race held under these conditions this year.
These conditions are particularly pleasing to the two title contenders: Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen, tightrope walkers in the wet.
