Historic F1 cars back at Magny-Cours for the Classic Days
This year, the Magny-Cours circuit hosts the Classic Days, for their 14th edition. Exceptional cars and personalities from motorsport will be present.

This is the classic car gathering not to be missed. This year, the Classic Days are back at the Magny-Cours circuit for the 14th year. The most beautiful and iconic cars will be there, AC Cobra, Bugatti Type 35, Ford Mustang, Ferrari 364 GT4, and many others. In total, more than 1000 exceptional cars should gather in the paddock of the former Formula 1 circuit.
30 years of Formula 1 at Magny-Cours
2021 marks the 30th anniversary of the first Formula 1 Grand Prix on the circuit in Nièvre. To celebrate this event, some single-seaters that have made history in the sport and on the track will make their big comeback at Magny-Cours.
The first legendary F1 car to make its big comeback on the Nevers circuit is none other than the Williams FW15C, driven by Alain Prost in 1993. It is one of the most legendary single-seaters in Formula 1. This car had allowed the Professor to win in France for the 6th time that year. The native of Lorette had also won his 4th and last world title at the end of that season.
Another legendary car to return to Nièvre, it is none other than the Prost Grand Prix AP04. The event organizers announced it last Thursday, and also specified that the single-seater from the team of the four-time world champion will hit the track.
Exceptional guests for the 60th anniversary of the circuit.
To celebrate the circuit’s 60th anniversary, the organizers of the Classic Days have planned a very extensive program with numerous tributes. Exceptional guests will also be part of the celebration on June 26th and 27th.
With a birthday like this one, the organizers once again pulled out all the stops. Former F1 driver and five-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans (including 4 times with Porsche), Derek Bell is the guest of honor for the 14th edition of the Classic Days, and will do the honor of his presence for this exceptional weekend.
The British driver who piloted the most incredible prototypes on the Le Mans track, will bring to Magny-Cours his Alpine A442 with which he participated in the most famous endurance race in 1977 and 1978.
This year, the Nevers Magny-Cours circuit will pay tribute to the famous single-seater constructor and former mechanic from the Winfield driving school, Tico Martini. Also honored will be the Formula Renault, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2021.
Finally, the Classic Days will pay tribute to the first automobile manufacturer in history, Panhard Levassor. To celebrate the brand’s 130th anniversary, the organizers have planned an exhibition of the most iconic Panhard models.
