Sebastian Vettel voted driver of the day in Baku

Two weeks after receiving this award thanks to his 5th place in Monaco, Sebastian Vettel once again received the title of driver of the day this weekend. Driver #5 animated the race with his bold overtakes and the passion worthy of his Red Bull years.
Author of a very solid Grand Prix in which he once again demonstrated the full extent of his talent, the German was able to climb from 11th to 2nd place. The native of Heppenheim seized all the opportunities that were offered to him to move up in the rankings.
Well helped by the Safety Car following his teammate’s crash, he was able to catch up to the leading pack. At the restart, unleashed Vettel passed Leclerc at first, before taking the 4th place from Pierre Gasly on the long straight.
Following the red flag, the German driver in third place took advantage of Lewis Hamilton’s mistake to gain a position and give Aston Martin a historic podium.
