Romain Grosjean will definitely take the wheel at Le Castellet
Romain Grosjean's program at Mercedes will not be as comprehensive as expected but the main thing is saved!

This was supposed to be a double dose, but Romain Grosjean will ultimately only complete part of his program. When Mercedes announced that they would entrust him with their 2019 W10, the Frenchman was supposed to take the wheel for the first time to do demonstration laps on the Sunday of the French Grand Prix, and then carry out a full day of testing the following Tuesday.
But today: all hands on deck! Turkish Grand Prix canceled and replaced by a second race at the Red Bull Ring, which forces to advance the trip to Paul Ricard by a week! Unfortunately, on June 20, there is also an IndyCar race scheduled at Road America circuit in Wisconsin. In other words: impossible to make the trip to France.
However, the team was quick to reassure: the offer for the test day remains valid!
Nope, the full test day in W10 is still happening, the plan for that remains unchanged. Just means the demo laps on the Sunday of the French GP won't be possible now due to Romain racing

Therefore, the Frenchman will indeed be able to get back into an F1 car, one of the best in the history of the category.
