61 years on, Aston Martin makes history again
1960 was the year of the last appearance of an Aston Martin F1 car at Silverstone. Today, as part of a promotional film shoot, the AMR21 has taken its first laps around the wheel.

The AMR21 succeeds directly the DBR5. 61 years after the last outing of an Aston Martin-branded Formula 1 car, the English team once again made the asphalt of Silverstone vibrate.
First historic wheels spin
It is within the regulatory framework of the 100km dedicated to the shooting of promotional films that the AMR21 was revealed in broad daylight. Finally, in English daylight… That is to say in the rain!
The two official drivers, Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll, were finally able to take control of the car that will accompany them throughout the 2021 season and thus prepare for the pre-championship tests that will take place on the 12th, 13th, and 14th in Bahrain. That is, two weeks before the Bahrain Grand Prix, which will open the season.
Here are two promotional communications sent by Aston Martin Cognizant F1 Team.
