A slightly different livery: discover the new Mercedes W12
The Mercedes W12 has a new design at the rear compared to its 2020 predecessor!

Here is the car to beat in 2021! A little ahead of schedule, Mercedes unveiled its new car, the W12, on Tuesday at noon. The first 3D images were first presented on the manufacturer’s social media platforms, before a launch from the Brackley factory, with the drivers and Toto Wolff. The defending champions continue the presentation parade, following McLaren, AlphaTauri, and Alfa Romeo.
A black livery like in 2020 but with some small design changes at the back.
Always the same color for the new Mercedes: black dominates on the first images of the W12. But the historic silver of the Silver Arrows returns to the rear of the car, with a nice place given to AMG. British sponsor Ineos keeps its spot with some red on the top of the car.
Behind this new livery, Mercedes is certainly continuing its support for promoting diversity in motor racing, as requested by Lewis Hamilton at the start of the 2020 season. On the technical side, the team is keeping its cards close to the chest for now, with a carefully avoided presentation of the floor and rear of the car.

In detail, the new Mercedes racing car is named W12 E Performance. A name linked to the brand’s commitment to Formula E. Also a way of recalling Mercedes’ electric transition, both in motorsport and in the design of its mainstream models.

The stability of a team as a guarantee of performance
After a long suspense that lasted all winter, Mercedes finally confirms the duo of Lewis Hamilton / Valtteri Bottas.
If the Finnish driver was confirmed as early as last year, the final details were validated very late for the reigning world champion driver from Mercedes.
Mercedes therefore leaves with the same duo of drivers since 2017, and with its team principal, the charismatic Toto Wolff.
