McLaren will sport a new logo this season
On the eve of the start of the 2021 Formula 1 season, Team McLaren unveiled its new logo.

While McLaren will unveil its new single-seater on February 15, the Woking-based team wanted to present something else first. Over the past five years, the British team was represented by this famous black swoosh that symbolizes a rear wing bending under the effect of speed.
This logo will be changed from 2021 to become papaya-colored. The historic color of the brand that accompanied it on most of its race cars between the 60s and 70s before giving way to Marlboro’s red and white. A new logo, sleeker and more colorful, that recalls the history of the team founded by Bruce McLaren but doesn’t forget to continue moving forward with a more streamlined and modern style that fits perfectly into the digital era.
Note that this new logo will only accompany the Formula 1 team. Other branches of McLaren such as IndyCar, Esports, and Automotive have also undergone a graphic revamp but will not adopt the papaya color.
