Pietro Fittipaldi, who is replacing Romain Grosjean this weekend at Haas following the Frenchman’s violent accident last weekend, will have to start last this Sunday.

Before the third free practice session this Saturday afternoon, the Haas mechanics changed the battery and the electronic control unit on Romain Grosjean’s car. Since the allocation of parts concerns the car and not the driver, Fittipaldi inherits Grosjean’s quota of parts, who had already used these power unit elements twice.

With these parts being changed for the third time, the Brazilian logically incurs a penalty of 2 times 10 places, that is, 10 places for each of the elements outside the quota.
