Ocon and Räikkönen penalized after Free Practice 2
Esteban Ocon and Kimi Räikkönen were both penalized after Free Practice 2 for exceeding the speed limit in the pit lane.
The two drivers were caught by the patrol this Friday during the second Free Practice session, which took place at night on the Sakhir circuit.
They were found guilty of violating Article 22.10 of the Formula 1 Sporting Regulations regarding the speed limit in the pit lane. As a reminder, the speed limit in the pit lane at Sakhir is 80 km/h.
Kimi Räikkönen was clocked at 81.3 km/h while Esteban Ocon was clocked at 85.7 km/h.
The track marshals decided to penalize them with fines of €200 and €600, respectively.
