Alfa Romeo and Sauber continue together
The Swiss F1 team Sauber extends its collaboration with Alfa-Romeo as the main sponsor and technical partner. The contract extension is validated until the end of 2021.

The Sauber team, present in F1 since 2006 and associated with Alfa Romeo since 2018, announces the extension of the collaboration.
Initially simply sponsored by the Italian firm in 2018, the Swiss team then strengthened ties by renaming the team and receiving technical support from the Italian manufacturer in 2019.
The showcase sponsor of Alfa Romeo will therefore continue for another year.
If nothing is confirmed to date, everything suggests that the current driver duo will be maintained with Kimi Räikkönen and Antonio Giovinazzi.
The team director Fred Vasseur is optimistic following this extension of collaboration:
« It is a true statement of intent from both parties. With Sauber, Alfa Romeo found a committed, performance-focused partner to whom they could entrust their brand. »
On the side of the Italian manufacturer Alfa Romeo, CEO Mike Manley justifies the presence of his brand in the paddocks:
« Racing and performance are at the heart of Alfa Romeo’s DNA. The brand was practically born on a racetrack, and today we continue to compete at the most technologically advanced level of motorsport. »
The exchange of skills, beneficial to both firms, extends even into the development of cutting-edge series models for the Italians, notably with the Giulia GTA and GTAm, for which Sauber provides its aerodynamic expertise.
In difficulty in the championship, notably due to the Ferrari engine, the team can now progress calmly in development for next year.
