OFFICIAL: Vettel will drive for Aston Martin starting in 2021!
Following the departure of Sergio Pérez, Racing Point (Aston Martin in 2021) was looking for a driver to support Lance Stroll. It is ultimately Sebastian Vettel who will replace the Mexican next year!

A multi-year contract
Everything escalated on Wednesday evening: the first surprise came from the Mexican driver Sergio Pérez who announced his departure from the Racing Point team, without announcing a next destination for the upcoming year.
His replacement was quickly confirmed, with Sebastian Vettel signing with Aston Martin for the 2021 season! The German driver has negotiated a multi-year contract, without further details on the exact duration of the agreement.
This new development marks the end of the Vettel saga: the future of the four-time German world champion had been uncertain since Ferrari announced the signing of Carlos Sainz for 2021. In search of a competitive seat, Sebastian Vettel saw the doors to teams closing one after the other (Mercedes, Renault, McLaren).
