Mick Schumacher in free practice at Mugello?
Mick Schumacher, currently second in the F2 championship, could take part in a free practice session this weekend at the Tuscan Grand Prix.

According to RTL.DE, the son of the seven-time German world champion could make his appearance in a single-seater during this race weekend.
Prema team driver in Formula 2, the young German is also part of the Ferrari Driver Academy program for several years. He is having a great season in Formula 2 this year, as he is currently runner-up to Callum Ilott. He comes off a successful weekend in Monza with a long race victory and a third-place finish in the sprint race.
According to our German colleagues from the newspaper RTL.DE, Mick Schumacher could get behind the wheel during a free practice session this Friday. While many would like to see him in a Ferrari, it is more likely he’ll be driving an Alfa Romeo or a Haas. Indeed, his affiliation with the Ferrari Driver Academy program gives him easier access to F1 due to the agreements between Ferrari and these partner teams.
A seat for Mick Schumacher next year?
“What we are going to do with him next year, we will talk about soon,” said Mattia Binotto in mid-August.
The results he achieves this year in Formula 2 are considered satisfactory by the Maranello team and encourage Ferrari to gradually introduce him into F1.
According to Mattia Binotto, “The next logical step is first a small Formula 1 team, where he can learn everything and gradually rise.”
