Austria: The TV Program
It's FINALLY the return of Formula 1 this weekend with the Austrian Grand Prix as the inaugural round of the 2020 championship. Motors Inside presents the information you need to know about this track, as well as the TV schedule to follow this first F1 weekend.

It is in a particular context that the 2020 Formula 1 season begins at the foot of the Austrian Alps in Spielberg in the Styria region on the Red Bull Ring track. Owned by the energy drink brand of the same name, the Red Bull Ring has returned to the F1 calendar since 2014.
This Austrian circuit is very technical; it’s an old-school track with many grass areas and gravel traps. It has a significant elevation change with uphill portions of 12% and downhill sections of 9.3%. With a length of 4.318 km and 10 turns, it is one of the shortest circuits on the calendar.
Key information to remember:
Circuit length: 4.318 km
Number of laps in the race: 71
Track record: 1:03.003 (Charles Leclerc 2019)
Record holder for victories: Alain Prost (3), McLaren (6)
Record holders for pole positions: René Arnoux and Niki Lauda (3), Ferrari (8)
In 2019, Charles Leclerc started from pole position but it was Max Verstappen who claimed victory after a poor start. This victory marked the first win for the Honda engine since its return to F1. You can watch the 2019 race highlights below:
