Official: The first images of F1 2020
After announcing the release of the game a few weeks ago, Codemasters is shifting into high gear by already showing images of the upcoming F1 2020.

While the 2020 Formula 1 season is still uncertain due to the Covid-19 crisis, the virus will not prevent the release of the F1 2020 game, which is eagerly awaited by all fans. The first images of the game were eagerly anticipated because, even though the game’s publisher, Codemasters, had already announced that the 2020 edition would have only a few differences compared to its predecessor, fans still wanted to see what the F1 2020 would look like, especially the new tracks on the calendar (Zandvoort and Hanoi) which might only be present in the game.
This first gameplay on the Zandvoort track with Max Verstappen’s Red Bull clearly shows what to expect when driving on this circuit. It is very fast and very narrow, making overtaking difficult. The banking is as impressive as in real life, and some curbs seem formidable, so be careful not to drive over them, as you might destabilize the car and thus lose it.
Technically, even though the game is still in the final stage of development, it seems to be in line with F1 2019 and no major graphical changes are noted, as expected. Indeed, the graphical revolution will likely take place on F1 2021 with the release of next-gens (PS5 and Xbox Series X). However, it can be noted that there have been some improvements in light management.
Also an opportunity for Codemasters to unveil the appearance of the game covers in stores. Apart from the versions specific to each country or region of the world that feature their local drivers, if you purchase the Michael Schumacher Deluxe Edition, you’ll have the legendary seven-time world champion in a red suit on the cover. If you purchase the standard edition of the game, you’ll have the two great F1 rivals of the past four years: Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel.
