Renault presents images of its 2020 F1
Renault unveiled glimpses of its future car with a temporary livery for pre-season testing during the presentation of its 2020 F1.

Today the presentation of the new Renault RS20 took place in Paris. The car was not present, the French manufacturer only showed 3D previews of its future car.
Indeed, the Enstone team did not want to present a car that would not resemble the one that will be at the Melbourne Grand Prix. To save time and money, Renault has released a few photos of its single-seater with an all-black livery. However, this livery will be temporary.
The drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Esteban Ocon will drive this all-black single-seater during the winter tests taking place from February 19 to 21 and then from February 26 to 28. The French team will reveal its final livery at the Melbourne Grand Prix.
« I can understand some disappointment, but if we put the car here, we lose two or three days of work. » explains Alain Prost during the presentation. Cyril Abiteboul wants to be reassuring by explaining that the team is not behind schedule on the car’s program, unlike last year, which had an impact on reliability at the start of the season. It’s a choice made by Renault to optimize the preparation of its RS20 as much as possible.
