Mercedes presents its 2020 livery!
It was during a conference in London that Mercedes unveiled its 2020 livery, which may not please all the fans.
While this year’s single-seater will be revealed in a few days, Mercedes has already unveiled the livery that will accompany it this season. Although the German team rarely changes the design of its car, the signing of a sponsorship contract with Ineos adds shades of red to the front wing, the chimney, and also a tiny bit on the rear wing.
These touches of red are owed to Ineos, which is part of the petrochemical industry. The brand will be allied with Mercedes for at least another 5 years and will pay Toto Wolff’s team no less than 20 million pounds sterling per year.
In 2019, Mercedes crushed the competition by winning 15 races, including 8 in the first 8 races of the season. An explosive start to the season allowed the brand with the star to take a considerable lead in the championship and subsequently secure both titles without ever being threatened.
