Ferrari will not reveal the details of the meeting between Vettel and Leclerc after the collision in Brazil
Mattia Binotto, team principal of Scuderia Ferrari, does not wish to discuss what was said during the meeting in Maranello between his two drivers following the collision at the Brazilian Grand Prix.

As the two Ferrari drivers were battling for fourth place in the Brazilian Grand Prix, both drivers retired in the final laps of the race after a contact between the two cars caused a puncture on each vehicle.
After this incident, the two drivers were summoned to Maranello to analyze, discuss, and debrief this action with Mattia Binotto. Before meeting face to face, Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc first had separate talks with the team director. While acknowledging that what happened is not acceptable […] if you listen to the drivers, they have their own versions of the facts. The team director explained at the beginning of the week.
In Abu Dhabi, no one at Ferrari wanted to elaborate on this subject. Indeed, Charles Leclerc indicated at the press conference that his teammate and he should now be a little less aggressive with each other.
Vettel, on the other hand, was unable to speak on Thursday as he was absent for personal reasons.

Mattia Binotto announced in a press conference that the collision between his drivers was handled internally and there was no need to create controversy about it. When asked what measures had been taken to avoid repeating this disastrous incident, Binotto replied: « There is no answer to give. It’s something we discuss internally. They are two very good drivers, they know exactly what to do. What happened is unfortunate. »
However, by insisting that no specific details had been communicated, Binotto defended the team’s right to keep things private.
« Is it one driver’s fault more than the other’s? I think it doesn’t matter. Maybe this time it could have been Seb, maybe next time it could be Charles. » comments Binotto.
« These are two drivers who are fighting, and they can make mistakes. The important thing is to understand what causes it. It’s the only way to ensure it doesn’t happen again. That’s obviously what we discussed, and I wish for it to remain between us. »
