Sebastian Vettel missed the media day of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
The four-time world champion was not present at the Abu Dhabi circuit this Thursday for personal reasons.
While the drivers are required to attend the traditional FIA press conference as well as their media obligations with journalists and team sponsors, Sebastian Vettel was absent today from the Yas Marina Circuit.
The German driver has become a father for the third time. His partner Hanna Prater gave birth yesterday. After Emily born in 2014 and Matilda born in 2015, the Vettel family is growing this time with a little boy.
With this happy event, the Ferrari driver was obviously excused from his absence at this media day. He will arrive in Abu Dhabi late in the evening and participate in the rest of the weekend.
Coincidentally, Valtteri Bottas announced on his Instagram account his separation from former Finnish swimmer Emilia Pikkarainen. This news ends three years of marriage.
