Official: The Final Calendar for Season 6 of Formula E
The leaders of the FIA ABB Formula E Championship have just officially announced the calendar for the 2019/2020 season of the series. It notably includes three new events.

Three Newcomers and the Return of the London Finale
As the start of Formula E Season 6 is fast approaching, the governing bodies of the 100% electric single-seater series have unveiled the final schedule for the season.
Comprised of 14 ePrix spread between November 22, 2019, and July 26, 2020, it will be the longest season in the history of the championship since its inception in 2014.
The launch of season 6 will take place like the previous year in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but with a double header for the occasion. These will be the only two ePrix of the season in the calendar year 2019.
The Formula E grid will then head to Santiago, Chile, on January 18, followed by the Mexico ePrix a month later. Marrakech will host the fourth round on February 29.
Hello Sanya, Seoul and Jakarta, goodbye Hong Kong
The first newcomer happens to be Sanya in China. This is at the expense of the Hong Kong ePrix, which was supposed to take place on the date of the Marrakech ePrix but will not be on the calendar this season for logistical reasons. The desire to have an ePrix in China (Hong Kong being independent) after the abandonment of Beijing has thus been fulfilled.
Following that will be two now-classic rounds on the calendar, namely Rome on April 4th and the Paris ePrix 15 days later. Then will come the other two new additions, Seoul and Jakarta, on May 3rd and June 6th, respectively. The Berlin and New York rounds will take place on June 21st and July 11th.
In the last two seasons, Formula E used to conclude its season in New York. But this year, it is with great joy that the London double-header returns to close the 6th championship as it did in the first two seasons of the series.
Certain dates will conflict with other motorsport categories. The Sanya ePrix will take place at the same time as the 1000 Miles of Sebring, and the New York ePrix on the same date as the Igora round in DTM.
It should also be noted that for the three new ePrix as well as for the London one, the circuits will be subject to FIA homologation.
