The HRT F112 has passed all crash tests
The 2012 single-seater of the Hispania Racing Team, the F112, is said to have passed all the mandatory FIA crash tests for its homologation.

HRT hoped to debut its 2012 car in Barcelona this week, but the F112 did not pass the necessary crash tests to run during private testing. The Spanish team was therefore not present in Barcelona alongside the other 11 teams on the grid.
But that is now in the past because, according to Autosport, HRT has reportedly successfully passed the FIA crash tests with its single-seater. The F112 is now authorized to participate in private tests and Formula 1 Grand Prix, with the aim of making its debut on track during the Barcelona 2 tests to be held from March 1st to 4th at the Circuit de Catalunya.
However, still according to the British publication, nothing indicates that the Spanish team will succeed in designing its first chassis on time. A source cited by the magazine specified that the team nonetheless hoped to be able to conduct at least two days of testing with the F112 before the start of the season.
