After winning the GP2 title in 2005, Nico Rosberg began his Formula 1 career in 2006 with the Williams F1 team. The German driver remained an official driver for the Grove team for four seasons before joining Mercedes GP at the beginning of 2010.

Since his debut in F1, the German driver has had the opportunity to compete against four different teammates: Mark Webber, Alexander Wurz, Kazuka Nakajima at Williams, and Michael Schumacher at Mercedes.

Even though Schumacher is the driver with the most achievements among the four men, Rosberg believes that the toughest teammate he had to face was Mark Webber, during his inaugural F1 season. Michael Schumacher comes in second place.

Asked about the topic by Sport Bild, Rosberg replied: «Mark Webber in 2006, and then Michael.»

Rosberg has regularly outperformed Schumacher since the beginning of their collaboration and he hopes that this will continue in 2012. The son of Keke Rosberg would even like to enter the legend of Mercedes.

Becoming the first German to win in the new Silver Arrow would be an absolute dream for me.

Nico Rosberg also explained that for the 2012 season, his goal was to do better than in 2011, where his best result was a 5th place, in China and Turkey. He hopes in particular to start the season in a better position than was the case in 2011.

«(For this start of the season, we want) to progress and then (achieve) good results. We don’t want it to be like last year, where we started in a different position than we expected. We were far off and had many problems. We are convinced that we can do differently this season! » added Rosberg in an interview with the official Formula 1 website.
