Daniel Ricciardo will see after Australia if he wants to come back to F1
From now on, as the Red Bull reserve driver, the Australian will be present at the Australian Grand Prix this season. It's a trip that he is greatly looking forward to and will say a lot about a possible return to F1.

The former McLaren driver is entering a Formula 1 season for the first time since his debut in 2011 without being a full-time starter on the grid. After being ousted from Woking, he found refuge at the Red Bull team, where he raced from 2014 to 2018 and achieved seven victories.
Last Friday, during the unveiling of the Red Bull RB19 in New York, the Australian driver announced that he will be present in the Austrian garage for his home Grand Prix.
« I will watch the first race on television, so I think it will mean something to me. But I will be in Melbourne [third race of the season], it will be the first race I will attend. »
The 33-year-old driver took the opportunity to provide some clarification regarding a possible return in the future.
Being in the atmosphere with the noise, the sound, and the smell. With all that, I’ll probably know if I’m happy, always thrilled and excited, and if I can come back, or if I’m just rather happy to be there as a fan. We’ll see. But I think Melbourne will probably tell me a lot.
I’m trying not to stress myself too much. I really want to let things happen naturally, and being here at the launch is exciting and pretty cool, but I’m also very happy with the year I’m taking. At least, where I am, I feel really good.
« But well, the holidays are coming to an end, I had a lot of free time [this winter]. I will go to the Superbowl next weekend, and then I will get back to it properly. I will resume my diet and more training. »
I will see what happens in the next two months, but I don’t think I need to rush.
