Charles Leclerc behind the wheel of a Maserati for his latest sponsor
Sponsored by APM Monaco since the end of 2023, Charles Leclerc is the star of the latest advertising campaign for the Monégasque brand. However, he is seen driving a Maserati. Surprising.
F1 sponsors are not always connected to the team contract. Therefore, although Charles Leclerc is indeed a Ferrari driver in Formula 1, he can still appear behind the wheel of a Maserati in an advertisement filmed for one of his personal partners: APM Monaco.
APM is a Monegasque jeweler who has been sponsoring Charles Leclerc for a few months. Let’s recall that Charles Leclerc is also Monegasque. The driver who races with Scuderia Ferrari in the F1 World Championship is surprisingly behind the wheel of a Maserati MC20, a hypercar model from the Italian manufacturer equipped with 630 horsepower and a V6 architecture.
Ambassador for APM since 2023, Charles Leclerc was a co-creator of the brand’s latest collection of men’s jewelry. He appears in the video running, driving, and most notably speaking in voiceover.
Note that the driver drives a Ferrari 812 Competizione Aperta in his everyday life and that this Maserati is probably part of a collaboration between the jeweler and the Italian brand.
