Ford puts pressure on Red Bull to fire Christian Horner
Ford is putting pressure on Red Bull to finalize its investigation into Christian Horner, the Formula 1 team principal who is the subject of an internal investigation by Red Bull into comments made against an employee this winter.

Faced with a lack of news on the progress of the investigation related to allegations made by an employee against Horner, Ford is stepping up its demands for Red Bull to take concrete action. The FIA and Liberty Media have also called for a quick decision to be made, emphasizing the values of Formula 1.
According to an article from the Associated Press, Ford's CEO, Jim Farley, sent a letter to Red Bull expressing the company's dissatisfaction with the progress of the case, deemed crucial. In this letter, revealed by the AP, Farley mentions that Ford is incredibly frustrated by the lack of decision-making by Red Bull.
We are also frustrated by the total lack of transparency surrounding this matter with us, your business partners, and we look forward to receiving a full report of all the findings.
He is pressing Red Bull for a quick and serious handling of the matter. In other words, Ford is insisting on firing Christian Horner if he actually made the comments he is accused of.
As Ford prepares to collaborate with the RBPT division, Red Bull's engines from 2026, it has already initiated marketing actions. Farley highlighted Ford's dissatisfaction as a family-owned company with the handling of the situation, regretting the lack of responses to its requests for increased transparency.
As we have previously mentioned, without a satisfactory response, Ford's values are non-negotiable.
It is imperative that our race partners share and demonstrate a sincere commitment to these same values. My team and I are available at any time to discuss this matter. We remain steadfast and optimistic about a resolution that we can all support.
The firm is not the only one urging Red Bull to act quickly, especially with the Bahrain Grand Prix approaching. Concern is growing about the impact of this matter on the event. The Formula One Management (FOM) has also expressed its desire to see the matter resolved without delay.
We have noted that Red Bull has launched an independent investigation into internal allegations at Red Bull Racing. We hope that the matter will be clarified as soon as possible, following a fair and thorough process, and we will not make any further comments at this time.
Despite the investigation, Horner continues to perform his duties and took part in the launch of the new car in Milton Keynes, as well as in the pre-season tests in Bahrain. He denied making the comments but did not want to discuss it during the press conference in front of the media.
