It continues to move. For a year now, at Alpine, there has been a lot of movement. Since the Belgian Grand Prix last year and the departure of Otmar Szafnauer, many people have left the French team.

There have been Bob Bell, Davide Brivio, Alan Permane, Pat Fry, Matt Harman, and Dirk de Beer. It’s now the turn of Rob White, the director of operations. The information was revealed by our colleagues at the BBC. This was all confirmed by a spokesperson for the team.

« As part of a broader operational restructuring of the team, we can confirm the departure of Rob White. The team is grateful for Rob’s efforts during his long career in Enstone and Viry-Chatillon, where he led the championship-winning engine project in 2005 and 2006. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors », he announced.

Rob White had held these positions since 2016. The Briton had been associated with Alpine for over 20 years, when the team was competing for world championship titles with Fernando Alonso.
