The new series on Checo Pérez will be released on July 31st
F1. The documentary series recounting Checo Pérez's everyday life in Formula 1 will be released on July 31 on Disney+.
After Netflix and its famous series Formula 1: Drive to Survive, Disney+ will produce a documentary about the life of Red Bull driver Sergio Pérez, commonly known as Checo. The streaming platform recently revealed the release date of the documentary, and it won't be long before discovering his story. Titled « Checo Pérez: ¡No te rindas, cabrón!», the documentary will be available to Disney+ subscribers starting from July 31st.
The series will follow Perez's daily life as he prepares to participate in the season of one of the greatest motor sports, Formula 1. The documentary will track his training sessions, as well as how he manages his everyday work. Disney wishes to include more sports content on the platform, and the new series on Checo is just the first of many to come.
Very different from the Netflix series, this one will focus on the life of the Red Bull pilot. A perfectly timed release as it coincides with the first week of the traditional summer break.
Not the first series
Disney+ is not the first platform to take an interest in the life of the Mexican driver since in 2022, Rola Entertainment had already released a Spanish mini-series in four episodes entitled « Checo ». The Red Bull driver is very popular in Mexico, but also in South American and Latin American countries, bringing many partnerships with him. It is therefore not surprising to see him back in the spotlight.
This documentary is the perfect opportunity to discover a little more about him, for his fans, but also for those who want to learn more about the daily life of a Formula 1 driver. A series that promises to offer a new perspective on a profession that is still largely undocumented.
