Oscar Piastri is the fourth driver in history to complete every lap of a Formula 1 season
Oscar Piastri is the fourth driver in Formula 1 history to complete every lap of a season.

Although Oscar Piastri had a disappointing race at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, finishing in 10th place, he achieved a record.
The Australian completed each race of the season, becoming the fourth driver in the history of Formula 1 to achieve this feat. He joins Michael Schumacher (2002), Lewis Hamilton (2019) and Max Verstappen (2023) in this very exclusive club.
This reflects Oscar Piastri’s consistency throughout the year, all the more remarkable given that unlike the other three, he did not win the world title.
Overall, it was an impressive year for Oscar Piastri, especially during the European tour of the season. He secured his first victory in Hungary, while his triumph in Azerbaijan against Charles Leclerc was sensational.
However, from Singapore, his teammate Lando Norris has taken a clear advantage. Oscar Piastri’s main issue has been his pace in qualifying. Piastri has only outperformed Lando Norris in qualifying four times this year. Nevertheless, Piastri contributed to McLaren’s first constructors’ title since 1998.
Oscar Piastri ready to fight
With a McLaren expected to be on the grid next season as a car capable of winning the world title, Oscar Piastri has a clear goal.
« I hope that we can start the season strong next year and challenge right from the beginning,” said Oscar Piastri. « I still have aspects to improve, but I think overall it was a good step forward compared to my rookie season.”
« I am excited for next year, but also for a little break before starting again and trying to fight for both championships.
