The 2024 F1 season officially kicks off this week with winter testing!
It's official: Formula 1 is back in action! The ten teams and twenty drivers for the 2024 season meet this week in Bahrain for three days of pre-season testing. Here's the full schedule for the three days of winter testing.

After a more eventful silly season than expected and the presentation ball closed, the 2024 Formula 1 season officially begins this week. While the first Grand Prix of the year will take place from February 29 to March 2 in Bahrain, the teams will gather this week on the same Sakhir circuit for winter testing.
Most teams have completed their 300 kilometers of mandatory shakedown and promotional filming, but these pre-season tests will be an opportunity for drivers to really push their cars in conditions similar to the first race weekend of the season.
Despite Fernando Alonso finding the testing time unfair, three days of testing are still planned in Bahrain, as was the case last season. In addition to this limited time, teams are only allowed to run one car per session, which limits testing time to one and a half days for each driver.
Schedule and broadcasting of winter tests
From Wednesday 21st to Friday 23rd of February, the track will be open to drivers from 8am to 12pm, and then from 1pm to 5pm, French time. Canal+ Sport will broadcast the entirety of the three days and eight hours of driving per day live on its channels.
The session summaries and rankings will be available daily on Motors Inside , in addition to the numerous photos that our on-site photographers will send us.
