The facts

Yesterday, one of the Ferrari fans present in large numbers at the Fiorano test circuit sawed down a tree that was obstructing the tifosi’s view of the SF-25 in action. Cheered by his peers, his act could not go unpunished.

The sawn tree was not the only one to have been destroyed around the circuit. This one has seen several of its branches cut.

An exemplary punishment?

An article from the Gazzetta di Modena states that the impromptu lumberjack was identified by the local police.

« It is not yet possible to know how much the sanction will amount to », however, declared the Gazzetta di Modena.

We can still hope that the fine will deter other fans from engaging in this kind of activity, especially since the other tifosi around the man identified by the police were encouraging him. If they had had the necessary equipment, they could have cut down the tree themselves.
