After the iconic red comes blue. Ferrari unveiled new white and blue suits for Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton on Wednesday, April 30, confirming rumors of a special livery for the Miami Grand Prix. This visual change pays tribute to its main sponsor, HP, while aligning with a now-classic trend of “show” Grand Prix events like Miami or Las Vegas.

This special livery marks a return to Ferrari’s historical colors, having previously used white and blue in the past. In 1979, Jody Scheckter wore a white and blue suit during his debut with the team. More recently, in 2023, Charles Leclerc also wore a white suit at the Monaco Grand Prix.

The new livery and racing suits are part of a collaboration between Ferrari, HP, and Puma. This initiative aims to celebrate the partnership between Ferrari and HP, while introducing a new collection of racing apparel designed by the clothing brand.

An expected performance on the track

Ferrari hopes that this new livery will bring a positive boost to its season start. Currently, the team is fourth in the Constructors’ Championship with 78 points, behind McLaren. Charles Leclerc is fifth in the Drivers’ Championship, while Lewis Hamilton is in seventh place.

The Miami Grand Prix 2025 will take place from May 2 to 4, with qualifying sessions and races scheduled throughout the weekend. Fans will be able to see Ferrari’s new livery during the practice sessions and races at the Miami International Circuit.
