Rokit demands $149 million from Williams!
The former sponsor of Williams Racing is suing the team for damages while claiming that they falsely promised a competitive car for the 2019 season.

By the end of 2022, the fact that Williams wins its lawsuit against ROKiT and receives over 32 million euros, in a two-year-long case, seemed to definitively close the dispute between the two parties… But that’s not the case!
Rokit wants its revenge on Williams
The American telecommunications company has just filed a lawsuit against the Williams team, demanding $149 million. They claim that Williams was “aware and concealed” the true potential of their car, despite promises of a falsely competitive car for the 2019 season.
ROKiT claims that the arbitration tribunal was not aware of the fraudulent concealment of material fact statements by the defendants (Williams), which were discovered after the arbitration concluded. They have since learned that the car was never able to meet the standards guaranteed by Williams to ROKiT.
The defendants intentionally and fraudulently concealed the fact that Williams Engineering simply did not have enough money to develop the F1 car.
ROKiT specifies: « As a direct and immediate consequence of the fraudulent statements made by the defendants, the plaintiffs have suffered significant financial losses and damages to their customer base and business reputation”, and request compensation for “an amount exceeding $149,528,550. »
Williams Racing denies the allegations made by ROKiT and claims to have already won a lawsuit while expressing confidence in justice.
