Hitech retains Juri Vips until the end of the season
Following the termination of the contract between Red Bull and Juri Vips, Hitech GP has nonetheless confirmed the driver until the end of the season.
Following the racist remarks made last week in a live streaming by Red Bull reserve driver Juri Vips , the Austrian team has decided to suspend the driver pending an investigation.
Yesterday, Red Bull announced that they are terminating their contract with Juri Vips.
Today, it’s his Formula 2 team’s turn to communicate on the subject by indicating that the Estonian driver will retain his seat until the end of the season.

As for Formula 2, they have also communicated about this « Following the recent accidents, F2 would like to reiterate that the use of racist or discriminatory remarks cannot be tolerated in any environment. Hitech Grand Prix’s decision is surprising, and certainly not the one we would have made. »
