24 Hours of Le Mans – Race: Only two retirements by 6 in the morning
At the front of the race, Toyota is mastering their subject. The Alpine is ten laps behind due to mechanical issues. There are still 60 cars remaining in the competition.

In 14 hours of racing, the cars have demonstrated great reliability. By 6 a.m., only two had to retire: car number 46 from Team Project 1 and car number 71 from Spirit of Race, both competing in LMGTE AM category.
The hypercar category is still dominated by Toyota. The number 7, driven by Mike Conway, is leading its sister car by over twenty seconds after more than 225 laps completed. Three laps behind, we find the Glickenhaus 709. The fourth place is not occupied by another hypercar but by the LMP2 number 38 from Team JOTA. The Alpine is in 21st position overall, with a deficit of 10 laps to the leader.
At 6 o’clock, the number 65 Panis Racing car went straight ahead at the Mulsanne corner and crashed into the tire barrier. The incident caused a slow zone.
