The Australian Grand Prix secures its place on the calendar until 2025
The legendary Albert Park circuit in Melbourne will continue to host Formula 1 Grand Prix until 2025. The agreement was formalized yesterday, a few days after it was announced that the race would be the first on the 2020 calendar.

The announcement of the extension of the Australian Grand Prix for the next five years follows the agreement reached between the Formula 1 promoter and the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, responsible for organizing the annual Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix.
The performances over the last three years, totaling 900,000 fans, and particularly the last Grand Prix in 2019 which alone drew a record number of 350,000 visitors, have provided enough assurances for both parties to renew this inaugural Grand Prix of the championship.
