After solid qualifications, Scuderia Ferrari was able to capitalize on the promising performance glimpsed in recent Grand Prix during the race and confirms having reaped the benefits from the new technical regulations. Fernando Alonso, delivering a strong race, secured his first victory since last year's Korean Grand Prix. His teammate, on the other hand, had a more challenging race, though Felipe Massa fought until the finish line for fourth place.
