Friday: Good first day for Team Lotus
The morning weather conditions did not allow the Lotus drivers to do much running during the first session of this weekend. Nevertheless, the drivers are satisfied with the behavior of the T128. Jarno Trulli highlights the progress made with power steering, which makes his life easier. The team is moving in the right direction and is getting closer to the middle of the pack.

Heikki Kovalainen – NC and 19th:
It was a reasonable session for me. I had an issue with the DRS that cost me time, but I think the balance was relatively good and we have a good set-up, so we’ll see tomorrow.
Jarno Trulli – 15th and 17th:
I’m happy with my day overall. It’s a positive day without problems, and we tried different options which give us a good direction for tomorrow and the race.
We made an adjustment to the power steering and it definitely improves things in the cockpit for me, but there’s still more to come from the whole car, so I think we’ll be in good shape tomorrow.
Karun Chandhok – 21st and NC:
«The wet weather meant that we had limited running in the morning, but despite that, it was good to be back on track. I didn’t have the opportunity to push, but I enjoyed working with the team, and the more time I spend with everyone, the more I can see where this team can go.»
He has a good spirit in the garage and at the factory, and with the constant progress towards the middle of the pack, it’s a good place to work.
