Adrian Sutil – 13th and 12th

« It was a session without major issues for me. I think we used the tires well, there were no traffic problems, and it was a great team effort. But we should keep in mind that, so far, the races have shown that qualifying is not as important as before, and it matters more to have a good car during the race. I’m quite satisfied with my setup for tomorrow and feel more comfortable in the car compared to the last race. Regarding the tires, the hard ones seemed very effective yesterday, but the soft tires seem better when the temperatures rise, so it will be interesting to see what happens in the race. »

Paul di Resta – 16th and 13th

« I think we accomplished another great team performance today and we’re more or less where we hoped to be. There were no problems in Q1 and, in Q2, I only did one run because we thought it would optimize our race strategy by saving tire sets. I’m happy with my settings for the race and I think we sacrificed our qualifying a little to have a better car tomorrow. Hopefully, that will put us in a good position to fight with the cars in front and get some points. »

Robert Fernley, Deputy Team Principal

« It’s a good day, after all. Starting in 12th and 13th place puts us in a good position for a solid race and for competing for more points. It’s a shame we couldn’t get ahead of Barrichello, but ultimately, the Williams was just a bit faster than us today. For the race, I think we can hope for more than what we saw in China with a lot of action. It will be interesting to see how the tires hold up, especially with the demanding Turn 8, and we know there are good overtaking opportunities which should make for quite an exciting race. »
