DRS and Pirelli explode the statistics
The site Cliptheapex.com recorded over 130 overtakes during the Turkish Grand Prix, setting a new record since 1982 (when their statistics began) and shattering the previous record of 85 overtakes during the 2011 Chinese Grand Prix.
In this exercise, Massa would have been the most prolific with 13 overtaking maneuvers, ahead of Kamui Kobayashi, who was unnoticed with his comeback and 11 overtakes, while Michael Schumacher would have managed the feat of overtaking 11 times while being 10 times a victim of opponent assaults.
