Money Service Group leaves Toro Rosso for Sauber

A little over a year after its arrival in Formula One, Money Service Group has decided to change its strategy: the 2010 Spanish Grand Prix had been marked by its support for Toro Rosso. The 2011 edition will see the financial group now supporting Sauber.

This is almost a copy/paste of the strategy deployed last year as the logo of the group from Liechtenstein has decided to display its logo on the trucks, equipment in the stands, and other communication supports of the team. At the same time, it has disappeared from all the supports of the Faenza team, proving that Sauber indeed replaces Toro Rosso and is not an additional exposure.

Michael Seidl, the founder and owner of the company, has decided to capitalize on his year of experience in F1 but with another partner: «We have already gained a positive year of experience in Formula One and now we have decided to enter into a new relationship with the Sauber F1 Team and not just because of our regional proximity.» The group indeed comprises three companies and two representatives, whose premises are located in Liechtenstein, Germany, and Austria.

These three markets are therefore a priority for the group, which also uses Niki Lauda as an important communication channel, as he has been sporting the Money Service Group logo on his famous cap since the start of the season.
