Sunday: Toro Rosso struggling in the race
Authors of the 11th and 13th times in qualifying, the Toro Rosso drivers could hope to aim for points, but neither Buemi nor Alguersuari were able to deliver in the race and ended up 14th and 16th, nearly two laps behind.

Sebastian Buemi – 14th
« I got off to a good start by overtaking Massa, Button, and Maldonado, but unfortunately, Button and Massa overtook me again as they were faster. I tried to maintain a good pace, but I think we were a bit unlucky to lose so much time when I got lapped. Our strategy wasn’t perfect either and, above all, we were overall a bit too slow, and Force India and Sauber beat us fair and square. »
Jaime Alguersuari – 16th
« In general, it wasn’t a good race for us. I did the best I could, attacking lap after lap while trying to preserve my tires. After about 12 laps, my tires were dead, which is why I ended up on a 4-stop strategy.
Despite everything, in terms of lap time, maybe this race was slightly better than in Turkey. We really need to overcome the tire degradation, and we still have a lot of work to do if we want to be competitive and fight for points.
