McLaren drivers and Webber under investigation
The drivers risk a 20-second penalty for not respecting the flag, but the standings would remain unchanged.

After the conclusion of the Spanish Grand Prix, the FIA announced that an investigation had been opened against Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Mark Webber, and Jaime Alguersuari for failing to respect the yellow flag, as the drivers did not sufficiently slow down as required by the regulations.
This infraction, likely occurring at the time of Heikki Kovalainen’s accident in turn 4, could result in a 20-second penalty for the implicated drivers, which should not, however, have any impact on the final standings of the Grand Prix.
Update: After investigations, the drivers reportedly received a simple reprimand according to Martin Whitmarsh.
