Sunday: Group Shot at Mercedes GP
Grouped performance at Mercedes GP. Like last year, Michael Schumacher finishes ahead of his young teammate. The seven-time world champion had a rocket start from 10th position on the grid to get ahead of Rosberg. Both Mercedes GP drivers stayed wheel to wheel throughout the race. Nico Rosberg enjoyed his duel with his teammate, even though a problem with his DRS didn't allow him to attack as hard as he would have liked.

Michael Schumacher – 6th:
« We made the most of the opportunities today which is good news, especially for our guys for whom I am very happy. I had a good start, it was tight but fortunately it worked out. After that, we had to maintain our position. We can be happy with this result but it was tricky with the oversteer, tire degradation, and a delicate balance. We gave our best and I look forward to Monaco. »
Nico Rosberg – 7th:
It was a difficult race for me after I lost the use of my radio with the team, and my DRS wasn’t working properly, which didn’t allow me to make as many overtakes as possible. I enjoyed fighting with Michael for sixth place, even though I couldn’t attack him at 100%, so I was stuck behind him most of the time. I am now looking forward to my home race in Monaco. I love the track, and I am convinced that we can be closer to the front than here.
Ross Brawn:
It was a difficult race today, but we achieved everything we could with the sixth and seventh places. We decided to start Michael’s race with the softs because his reconnaissance lap showed that the grip level was tricky.
The two drivers had a good start, especially Michael. Then we controlled with good work on strategy and in the pits. We still have some way to go compared to the cars in front, and we will continue to work hard.
