Buemi hits a marshal during a demonstration
The Swiss had quite a scare this weekend.

The Toro Rosso driver, Sebastien Buemi, struck a track marshal during a charity demonstration organized this Saturday in Chiba, Japan. The marshal, hidden by an advertising arch, crossed the track right in front of the Swiss driver’s Red Bull and leaped over the car’s nose, which hit him at 50 km/h.
Miraculously, the commissioner came out unscathed but probably had the fright of his life, just like Sebastian Buemi who stated in the pages of Blick: « I cannot comment on the incident until Red Bull has clarified it. »
Let’s remember that a pedestrian hit by a vehicle at 50 km/h has only a 20% chance of survival.
