Ferrari and Puma continue together in the long term
The contract signed six years ago between Ferrari and Puma has proven to be very financially beneficial for both companies. That is why they have decided to extend their supply and licensing agreement in the long term to capitalize on this collaboration.

The agreement between the two partners includes two distinct parts. The first concerns a supply contract for equipment for the men and women of Scuderia: the German equipment manufacturer, which has a very long history in motorsports, provides the fireproof suits worn in races by Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa.
The second part of the agreement corresponds to a licensing contract granted by Maranello for Puma to produce and sell products featuring the colors of both brands worldwide. This includes a whole range of products: shoes, t-shirts, replicas of t-shirts and shirts worn by Scuderia employees, as well as pants and luggage. It is this second part that will be further strengthened, as the companies led by Luca di Montezemolo and Jochen Zeitz, president of Puma, have decided to develop a brand new range of products that will be presented by the end of the year, just before the holiday season, which is a favorable period for sales.
An association with a brand like Ferrari is important for Puma, especially since the acquisition by the PPR group, which wants to enhance the appeal of its luxury brands. Puma is now one of the pillars of the group, and significant investments are planned for the future to enable it to expand its global footprint. It is in this context that F1 plays a role, with a presence on all continents and in many emerging countries with very strong potential (China, India, Brazil, and soon Russia).
« Extending our relationship with the most prestigious automotive brand and the most popular Formula One team is very exciting for both our companies, from both a commercial and reputational standpoint. The development of licensed Ferrari products that we have undertaken so far has proven very successful, and the plans we have for the coming years are equally enticing, » says Jochen Zeitz.
